My sister started this, but Mike and I figured it out, can you?

Things happen to me, I write about them. Sometimes it's sweet, usually it's snarky. This blog is the true story of what happens when two adults and a bad beagle live in a house with two toddler boys. Take the whole bunch and transplant them in Georgia. Think you can handle all that suspense and excitement? Join us. Never teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

I've done this before and I am happy to say that I, indeed, figured it out.
First I was all 'Wow' and 'How can that be?' and then I took a close look and was like 'Oh, well...'
The pathetic thing? I know I've read something about how this works before but I can't remember and it is driving me NUTS! Someone want to clue me in? Uh, please? Pretty, pretty please??
When you take any number between 0-99 and add the digits together, and subtract from the original number (i.e. 37, 3+7=10, 37-10=27) the nuber is alway a multiple of 9 (i.e 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81...) So, no matter what number you choose, it will always come out to be a multiple of 9. The "magic" ball always chooses a multiple of 9. It's not magic, it's all about the math. It might be a fun thing to show your class. MATH IS FUN!!!
Very snappy! I admit, I didn't figure it out. Maybe after hours of pulling my hair out it might have come to me. The sad thing - when I was in 5th grade, I think I knew this '9' rule and probably would have figured it out in a few minutes. I feel so dumb!
