What do parents think they are going to accomplish by enabling their children? Lying for their children? Doing their kids homework, then telling the teacher emphatically how hard the child worked on it? Just a thought. Thought for the day.

I don't get that at all. That, my dear, is why kids today are growing up to be morons. And then I get them at the college level and they're stupid and they can't do anything for themselves and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter. Not that I have an opinion on the topic or anything.
I honestly don't know how most of the ones I see now are actually going to make it through high school, so maybe you won't have to worry about these guys coming to college. Their parents are not going to be able to help them much past about 6th grade, because they've already said that the math and the reading passages are getting beyond what they remember learning. So you should be ok.
